Cardiff Council’s promotes staff financial wellbeing with:

Cardiff Council has included Cardiff & Vale Credit Union’s Moneyworks Wales payroll scheme in its responsible procurement strategy, encouraging other employers to offer it to their staff.
Award winning!
In November 2019 Cardiff was awarded Living Wage City status, the second UK city and the first Capital city to do so, for its three-year action plan to get more accredited employers and more of Cardiff’s workforce to be paid the Real Living Wage.
Cardiff Council is also proactive in encouraging other employers to add Moneyworks Wales to their staff benefits packages. This includes adding the payroll scheme to its socially responsible procurement strategy to encourage their contractors to offer a Moneyworks Wales scheme.
